Follow the steps below to get ballots for local elections, primaries, and November's general election.

Finish filling out your application.
You should receive an email from vote.org with your absentee ballot application. Complete the form and sign it!
In most states, you don't have to provide a reason why you want to vote by mail. For all other states, being out of town on election day is a valid reason. You can check out a complete list of states and acceptible reasons here.
Print and mail the application.
You need to mail this application to your county's board of elections. Mail your application to address provided in the email you got from vote.org.

You should receive a ballot in the mail in advance of all elections that you applied for on your application.
Be sure to fill out and mail your ballot at least 2 days before election day to ensure your vote is counted.
